Weekly Update #7: Dressing Up Like a Baby!?

Dressing up like a baby!? What!? Yep, it's true. This week was Boyce College's spirit week, so each day there was an activity and a dress-up theme. On Wednesday, our hall had to dress up like an "awkward family," and I volunteered to be the baby. The following picture may scar many of you, but for those of you know me well, this will probably be quite normal...

Other than searching the depths of Louisville for fat toddler diapers and baby rattles, I truly had a productive week both socially and acedemically. Through spirit week, I was able to bond so much with some of my fellow students (you'd be surprised how many people talk to you when you're dressed up like a baby). At Boyce, each student is grouped together with the people on their hall, and each hall has a "sister hall" that they do activities with, such as competing against the other halls in spirit week. Doing several activities with my hall this week has truly bonded me with them, and they have made me feel like I am at home here in college. They already feel like family, and I cannot wait to spend the rest of the next few years with them. They are truly an answer to prayer.
Other than that, this week has truly been tough acedemically. With midterms coming up, the workload has been and will continue to be heavy in the upcoming week. Prayers for strength and motivation in acedemics would be well appreciated.
Although I am certainly having great loads of fun here, I cannot wait to see many of you when I come home for fall break later this week. I cannot wait to be back at Calvary again; I truly miss you all.
Prayer Requests
Focus. Pray that I would be fully and entirely focused on God throughout this next academic week, as he is the author and perfecter of my faith (Hebrews 12:2).
Strength and Motivation with exams this week.
Wisdom. Wisdom to discern between what needs to get done and what does not need to get done before I come home this week, wisdom on what to do with my precious time at home, etc.
Contentment. Because none of us can never get enough of this, and we ought to always pray for it.
God bless, and see you soon,
Matthew
Brad... no kidding eh?? But this IS hilarious!!!!! Glad he did!
Dude, you don't need to share everything.
